How buying works

  1. FindBrowse sites by category, each with its prices and when we last checked it.

Entries are compiled from public information and kept current by the publishers who claim them; every entry shows when it was last checked. The full methodology. Run a site yourself? How it works for publishers.

Stop emailing sites that never reply. Post once, get prices back.

Pick a format and say what it's for in your own words. A few quick questions follow, and nothing is posted until you say so.

Free to post. Offers compare side by side.

Questions

How much does a sponsored post cost?

It varies by site and category. Entries on the register show an indicative price set by the publisher or compiled from their advertising page, and many categories start under £150 per placement. The price on the entry is a starting point; you confirm the final figure with the publisher.

How do I find sites that accept sponsored articles?

Browse the register by category or search it. Every entry is a site that sells sponsored placements, with the formats it accepts, an indicative price, a link to its advertising page and the date it was last checked.

What does it cost to post a brief?

Nothing. Posting a brief, receiving offers and dealing with publishers are free, and Pressmark takes no commission. Paid options exist only for publishers who want more from their entry.

Do links on Pressmark pass ranking value?

No. Every outbound link on Pressmark is nofollow, and no link here is sold. The register sends publishers buyers, not link equity. What you buy from a publisher is on their site and on their terms.

How current is the data?

Each entry shows when it was last checked and, where a publisher has saved their own details, a Publisher-confirmed date. Entries are re-checked on a rolling cycle and publishers are asked to re-confirm every twelve months.
